Finally, the supply chain has a single voice: the GACAG (Global Air Cargo Advisory Group) formed in November 2010 and made up of IATA, FIATA, TIACA and the Global Shippers Forum. The goal of the group is to work together on key priorities for the supply chain, including security, e-freight, and promoting the value of air cargo. Without air cargo, the global economy cannot function. The industry is working together to improve efficiency, but governments have not always received clear signals from the industry on what is needed for efficient global air cargo operations.

The opportunity to come together and determine solutions to these key challenges is the World Cargo Symposium. Over 1,000 delegates, including top cargo executives and key decision makers from airlines, forwarders, ground handling agents, customs, airports, shippers and vendors will be participating.
